JAMMU, Jan 31: Bishnah Police arrested a lady with smuggled liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vinod Kundal under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan laid a naka and apprehended a lady along with 40 quarters of smuggled liquor.
The arrested lady was identified as Prito Devi, a resident of Chak Hassal District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 19/2022 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
It is pertinent to mention here that similar team from Police Station Bishnah also arrested a lady yesterday along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
