SAMBA, Jan 16: One lady passenger died and one motorcyclist got injured in road accident at Swankha road near Gurwal Morh (Ramgarh) this afternoon.
The auto bearing registration number JK02AG-8802 was on its way Swankha to Vijaypur turned turtle on road and hit with a residential wall along the road after the driver lsot control on the steering. A motorcycle bearing registration number JK21C-1152 which was on its way from Vijaypur to Swankha was also hit by it. The locals rushed both the auto passenger lady and motorcyclist to Government Emergency Hospital Vijaypur where the doctors declared lady brought dead while the injured Sahil Jamwal (27) son of Badan Singh resident of village Raipur Camp Samba was referred to GMC hospital Jammu for treatment.
The deceased lady was identified Asha Rani (62) wife of late Prakash Chand resident of village Kamala. Ramgarh police has registered the case in this connection for further investigation.
