MP JTN said that after UT it is the second occasion for Ladakh to write the history in golden words as we are discussing safeguards for UT Ladakh and passing important resolution in this regard but expressed sadness over the statement of opposition Congress leader of LAHDC, Leh Gyurment Dorjey for terming UT as without foot and head and said that such statement is assault on the dream of Kushok Bakula Rinpochey, senior leaders and Ladakhi people who gave their entire life for UT.
“I would like to move the resolution that Union Territory of Ladakh be granted constitutional safeguards for land, environment, employment, business and culture and resources either under 6th Schedule or Article 371 or Domicile Act of the Constitution of India to protect the Tribal rights of the indigenous people of Ladakh”, Deputy Chairman Tsering Sandup said.
