KATHUA, Nov 7: Lakhanpur Police has recovered seven bovine animals which were being smuggled in a truck bearing registration number JK0AR-2845 early this morning at Magar Khad.
According to police seven bovine animals were being smuggled in a truck via Magar Khad and after seeing the police party near by the smugglers fled leaving the truck and the bovine animals on the road.
The police rescued the bovine animals and seized the truck. A case under relevant sections of the law were also registered at Lakhanpur Police Station in this regard.
