JAMMU, Nov 28: BJP Jammu East candidate Rajesh Gupta was felicitated by Lakhdata Bazar Association in a public function today. The function was also attented by Ashok Khajuria, MLA Jammu East. Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that BJP is fully aware of the problems of the people of Jammu East and would leave no stone unturned to amelorate their sufferings. The pressing problems of traffic congestion and absence of parking places is adversely affecting the business of the area. The problem relating to people living he added in custodian properties needs to be addressed immediately by granting them proprietary rights.
Ashok Khajuria appealed to the people of the area to completely support Rajesh Gupta. He said that every vote to BJP will go to Narinder Modi and in turn strengthen the nation. The gathering was also addressed by Chairman of Sarafa Association Vijay Saraf and President Raman Suri. After felicitation function Rajesh Gupta was taken in a procession all around the bazaar amidst thundering cheers.While speaking on the occasion Saraf assured complete support to Rajesh Gupta contesting candidate from Jammu East.
Later, Gupta also inaugurated party office at below Gumat. The members of the Gumat Association participated in the function and assured full support to the BJP in the coming elections. Rajesh Gupta said that Jammu East would be developed fully and the demands of the people of the area will be fulfilled. Another function was also organised at Peer Kho Mandir by the residents of the area who promised complete support to Rajesh Gupta in the coming elections.
