Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Trust discusses Janamasahtmi celebrations

JAMMU, Aug 27: In a meeting here today Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust Gandhi Nagar discussed celebrations of Shri Krishna Janamasahtmi falling on August 30, 2021.
The meeting was chaired by Th Gulchain Singh Charak, Trust president.
Keeping in view the prevailing situation due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided that Rath Yatra will not be taken out this year but the temple complex will be illuminated properly.
Various Sub Committees were constituted for arrangement of Prasad, to ensure proper implementation of SOPs and guidelines issued by Health Department, to maintain COVID Appropriate Behaviour and to distribute Prasad properly after 12:00 in night.
Charak advised all members of committees to take proper measures so that devotees are able to have proper Darshan of Lord Krishna and they may take part in Puja and Arti observing proper guidelines issued by the administration.
It was also decided that suitable arrangements for masks, sanitizer, temperature measuring instruments and hand washing arrangements should be put in place at main entrance of the temple.
