Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Trust holds meet

JAMMU, Aug 1: A meeting of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar was held here today under the chairmanship of Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Trust president to chalk out celebrations of upcoming functions.
A handout of the temple stated that Shri Shani Mandir Sathapna Divas falling on August 10 will be celebrated at the temple.
Shri Shani Shila Mandir, a replica of Shri Shani Shila of Shingnapur was established with full Sanatan Vidhi by renowned scholars of Shri Shingnapur, Maharashtra.
During meeting it was decided that the programme will start at 8 am with Navgreh Pooja followed by Abhishek and subsequently by arranging a huge Bhandara.
Sub-Committees of Trustees were also requested to plan other religious functions which are to be celebrated on priority in near future and for carrying out other developmental programmes of the temple.
Gulchain Singh Charak advised all the members to participate in developmental works for making the temple complex a unique one in Jammu.
The meeting was attended by S.C Rekhi, general secretary; Dr. C.M Seth, V.K Abrol, Prem Sharma, Prithvi Raj Vaid, Kapil Slathia, Parshant Sharma, P.C Gupta, Sumesh Damral, Jagjit Singh Jamwal, Romesh Thakur, Tarun Gupta, Sandeep Singh and Kulbir Singh Chib.
