Lakshmi Narayan Temple to organize ‘Kalash Yatra’

JAMMU, Nov 7: Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar will start 7-day Ram Katha Programme from November 8 by taking out “Kalash Yatra”.
This was disclosed by Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and President of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust Gandhi Nagar while addressing a press conference.
He said that as a part of 7 day long Ram Katha Programme commencing from November 9, the Management Trust along with Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan will organise “Kalash Yatra” on November 8 at 12 noon. The “Kalash Yatra” will start from Mandir and after passing through extension road -Duda Dhari and Mahadev Mandir -Shastri Nagar-Ram Mandir -Apsara Road-Gole Market will culminate in Mandir premises.
Internationally renowned Sadhvi Sushri Jayanti and other disciples of “Shri Ashutosh Ji Maharaj” of Vyas Peeth Divya Jyoti Jagriti Sansthan will captivate the devotees with recitations of bhajans and verses from “Ram Chrit Manas” from 6 pm to 9 pm daily.
To maintain the sanctity of the Mandir, it has been decided that Arti will start at 5:45 pm daily and devotees along with Sadhvis/Sadhus of the Sansthan will also participate in the Arti and thereafter the programme of Ram Katha will start.
The Trustees namely S C Rekhi, Joint Director Agriculture (Rtd), K B Jandial (IAS), Deepak Gupta- Vice-Chairman CCB, V K Abrol -Chief Engineer (Retd) and Harish Malhotra (Businessman) were also present in the press conference.
