RAMBAN, Apr 11: District Election Officer Ramban today suspended a village head (Lambardar) of village Kunfer, Chanderkote for violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
An order issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban in this regard stated that Zaffar Abbas, the village head (Lambardar) of village Kunfer, has participated in a political rally organised by a leader of a particular political party on Tuesday, (April 7) in Ramban.
Voting for the Udhampur-Doda Parliamentary seat will be held on April 19 in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections.
