The decision of the Supreme Court will go a long way in fighting corruption in the country. It has been observed most of the times that the Government turns a Nelson’s eye towards some high ranking bureaucrats involved in corruption or scandalous acts. The inordinate delay in granting sanction to prosecute an officer by any investigating agency, often results in investigation gets aborted.
The judgement has brought all employees whether high or low ranking at par with each other. The decision is certainly a landmark one.
