JAMMU, Feb 27: Former minister and Ex- MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma along with Corporator of Ward No. 41, Sanjay Baru started works for construction of lanes in Surya Vihar area of Talab Tillo.
Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, District general secretary Rajesh Gupta and others also accompanied the BJP leader.
Speaking on the occasion, Ex-MLA said that every nook and corner of J&K is witnessing numerous development works in their areas and this will continue till every area is developed to its fullest.
He said landmark decisions for development of J&K under the leadership of PM Modi has changed the overall scenario and now investors from outside are also reaching out to UT to explore the possibilities of various avenues which will ultimately benefit the locals especially youth of J&K.
Baru said that pending works which were not completed due to some unavoidable circumstances, are now being taken up. He said during the tenure of former MLA, some funds were spent in the ward to improve the overall condition which was boon for locals and now Ward 41 is amongst the cleanest and developed wards of Corporation, he added.
Welfare Committee president Hans Raj Manhas, other members -Jaideep Sambyal, Brijesh Gupta, Ramesh Khajuria, Om Parkash Padha, Madan Gopal, Pritam Singh, RK Tickoo and Kuldeep Sharma were also present on the occasion.
