JAMMU, Nov 4: The security personnel today defused a landmine at village Avtaal in Ramgarh sector of Samba district.
A villager noticed the landmine near his fields at Avtaal and informed the BSF. A Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the spot and defused the landmine safely.
No casualties or damage was reported in defusing the landmine, reports said.
Recoveries of landmine along the International Border (IB) as well as the Line of Control (LoC) are a routine affair, they added.
