JAMMU, May 7: Expressing concern over deteriorated condition of lanes and by lanes of Vaski Vihar Gurha (Bantalab), the Mohalla Committee, Vaski Vihar, has requested the Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B) to issue necessary orders for their blacktopping.
The president of the Committee, ML Koul, alleged that by Lanes No 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Lane No 6, which is hardly measuring 700-800 feet in length and where pebbles have already laid down twice, needed immediate blacktopping but authorities concerned are not paying attention towards it.
He requested the Chief Engineer, PWD (R&B), to immediately look into the matter and do the needful before the commencement of monsoon season.
