JAMMU, June 8: The Government today appointed two IAS officers as Nodal Officers for smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrimage this year.
Dr Raghav Langar, Secretary Planning, Development and Monitoring Department has been posted as Nodal Officer for Baltal Axis while Dr Piyush Singla, Administrative Secretary Revenue Department was posted as Nodal Officer for Pahalgam Axis.
They will closely monitor and liaison with all concerned agencies involved in the conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji yatra and will report to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board on regular basis.
An order to this effect was issued today by General Administration Department (GAD) Commissioner/Secretary Sanjeev Verma.
