POONCH, June 3: The administration of Raja Sukhdev Singh District Hospital Poonch started laparoscopic surgery here today.
Sufferings of common people have been eased with providing this operative facility as patients have to move to Jammu or outside J&K for availing this facility.
On the very first day, four laparoscopic surgeries were undertaken by Surgeon Manav Datta and his team, who have been specially appointed in Poonch for this purpose.
Attendant with one among four patients, Narinder Kumar said, ” We have to go Jammu for undergoing this surgery and providing facility here now has eased every one here connected with the problem.
Suprintendent DH Poonch, Dr Zulfiqar Ali said that now onward this facility will be a routine for the citizens of Poonch who use to move out of district in the past. He urged people to get Sehat Card prepared and get benefit of Govt Scheme in maintaining their health coverage insurance in Government and some private empanelled hospitals.
