POONCH, Aug 13: The last rites of Personnel Security Officer (PSO) of DDC member Surankote- who died yesterday in an alleged accidental fire was today performed at his village in Surankote.
Official sources said that senior Police Officers along with hundreds of people were present on the occasion. Police officers/officials laid flowers on his coffin and paid last rites to jawan.
Pertinent to mention that the deceased PSO identified as Mohd Asif died yesterday due to alleged accidental fire with his own service weapon, when his feet stepped while on duty with DDC member Surankote-B Sohail Malik near Pir Panjal petrol pump in Surankote.
