RAMBAN, Jan 29: Last rites of four members of a family who were found dead under mysterious circumstances yesterday at their house in a far flung and snow covered Balihote village of Ramban, were performed here today.
Police said after conducting postmortem of the couple and their two daughters in the mortuary of District Hospital and after completing other legal formalities, bodies were handed over to the legal heirs. Click here to watch video
The last rites of all the four were performed at the cremation ground Khow Bagh Ramban.
Meanwhile, Yogesh Singh, surviving member of the family, whose four family members were found dead in mysterious circumstances, has demanded a thorough probe into the mysterious deaths.
Yogesh Singh and his one sister were not present in the house when this incident happened yesterday. He has appealed to senior police officers for proper investigation in the case. He suspects some foul play behind deaths. Police have already started inquest proceedings in this connection at Police Station Ramban.
