JAMMU, Feb 20: In an endeavor to unify law knowing people at the State level, a body under the name and style of Law Knowing People’s Association was constituted today with Arjun Singh Pathania as its convener.
The convener will have all the powers for appointing adhoc set-ups and to decide on the various issues to be taken by the association. Advocate Amit Manhas, Advocate Aman Mahajan, Advocate Aditya Badyal, Advocate G S Thakur, Advocate Sumit Kotwal, Advocate Ronik Sharma, Advocate Gagandeep Sharma, Advocate Sahil Kumar and Pawan Sharma were appointed as executive members of the Association.
The Association will take cognizance of the legal issues, organize legal awareness workshops, legal aid camps and work for the betterment of law knowing community. The association will secure justice to all and fight for the cause of those who have no access to expensive legal facilities. The Association will be non-political and will access no funding of any group or institution.
Members of the association included Advocate Tanzeel, Advocate Amit Rasotra, Advocate Anil Sharma, Advocate Sarfaraz, Advocate Arvind Jalmeria Advocate Bamun Singh, Advocate Gagandeep Sharma, Jagjyot Singh, Advocate Bindusar Abrol, Advocate Tarun Sharma, Advocate Sukhvinder Singh, Advocate G S Tara, Advocate Sunil Sharma, Varun Dev Singh, Ajit Kumar, Advocate Ramkrishan Thakur and Advocate Jyotsana Badyal.
