JAMMU, May 30: Government on Tuesday allocated departments and criminal works amongst the law officers of the Jammu and Srinagar Wings of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
As per an order, Amit Gupta, Additional Advocate General, has been allocated Health and Medical Education Department, Power Development Department, Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation, Jammu and Kashmir Services Selections Board, Forest, Ecology and Environment, and Jal Shakti Department; Raman Sharma, Additional Advocate General, has been allocated General Administration Department, School Education Department, Social Welfare Department, and Rural Development Department; KDS Kotwal, Deputy Advocate General, has been allocated as Cooperative Department, J&K Sports Council, Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Department, Estate Department, Tourism Department, J&K Tourism Development Corporation, Skill Development Corporation, and Information Department.
“The allocation of the Department is subject to the satisfactory performance of the law officers which shall be reviewed periodically,” read the order.
Meanwhile, the Government also distributed the criminal work involving punishment upto 10 years amongst the Law Officers in the Srinagar Wing of the High Court.
As per an order, Mohammad Rais-Ud-Din Ganai, Deputy Advocate General, has been allotted the criminal works of Ganderbal and Pulwama Districts, Mubashir Majid Mali, Deputy Advocate General (Kulgam District), Sajad Ashraf, Government Advocate (Kupwara, Shopian Districts), Rekha Wangnoo, Government Advocate (Cases pertaining to Jammu Division), Ilyaz Nazir Laway, Government Advocate (Bandipora District), Faheem Shah, Government Advocate (Budgam District), Jehangir Ahmad Dar, Government Advocate (Baramulla District), and Zahid Hussain Dar, Government Advocate (Anantnag and Srinagar Districts).
As per another order distributing criminal work involving punishment of more than 10 years amongst the law officers in the Srinagar Wing of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Mohsin-Ul-Showkat Qadri, Senior Additional Advocate General, has been allotted the criminal works of Pulwama, Srinagar and Ganderbal Districts; Allau-Ud-Din Ganai, Additional Advocate General, has been allotted Budgam, Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara Districts, and Satinder Singh Kala, Additional Advocate General, has been allotted Kulgam, Shopian, Anantnag, and cases pertaining to Jammu Division of the High Court.
