JAMMU, Aug 19: Continuing the protest for 8th day, students of KC Law College protested outside the Jammu University on Wednesday and also blocked the campus main gate for some time.
They were demanding reduction in annual fees, particularly waiver of additional charges and also relaxation in depositing the fee in installments because of financial constraints of their parents due to COVID-19 pandemic. They raised slogans in support of their demands and urged the Jammu University Vice-Chancellor to issue necessary instructions in this regard
The protesting students were led by Abheet Sangotra and Shivam Gupta who accused the university authorities of forcing them to protest for their genuine demands during this pandemic when people even fear to step out of their homes.
