JAMMU, Apr 23: The work in the High Court as well as District Court Complex suffered on third day today due to non-appearance of the Advocates in protest against assault on a lawyer by the cops.
In protest against the incident, J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu held a protest demonstration in the court complex and burnt the effigy of SHO Gandhi Nagar Police Station.
Meanwhile, Bar Associations of Kathua, Ramban, Samba, Billawar, Reasi, Katra, Basohli, Udhampur also suspended work in the respective courts in solidarity with the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu.
