Lawyers suspend work for 2nd consecutive day

JAMMU, Apr 5: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu suspended work in all the courts including High Court, Tribunals, revenue courts  and Commissions for the second consecutive day today.
The work was suspended in support of demand for revocation of Illegal directions issued in pursuance to a meeting   of Tribal Affairs Department held on  14-02-2018 , handing over of Rasana case to CBI and deportation of illegally settled  immigrants in and  around Jammu.
The peripheral  Bar Associations also suspended work in Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Bishnah, Reasi, Basholi, Hiranagar, Bhaderwah, Billawar  & other courts.
Office bearers of various organizations voluntarily came to the site of dharna and spoke in favour of the genuine demands projected by the Association in the interest of  safety, security  and  peaceful survival of nationalist people of Jammu region.
Meanwhile, J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu reached out to the common masses and civil society in order to mobilize public opinion and to strategize further course of action.
The Bar has decided to hold a protest rally tomorrow which will start from the Janipur Court complex and pass through various areas of Jammu city.
