JAMMU, Oct 15: The Laxmi Vihar Welfare Committee, Tomal, Bohri conducted the elections under the supervision of Election Commissioner, P N Raina.
During the elections, C L Garoo was elected as president by defeating his nearest rival Girdhari Lal Koul.
Nana Ji Raina and Ashwani Mirakhur were already declared elected unopposed for the post of vice president and general secretary. The other office bearers will be nominated in the next meeting of the Committee. The newly elected president while addressing the meeting said that he and his team will work whole heartedly for the welfare and development of the area.
