MUSSOORIE, Jan 23: The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) Mussoorie conducted its 30th Joint Civil Military training program on National Security, bringing together a distinguished group of senior officers from All India Services, Central Civil Services, other Central Services, and the Armed Forces. The participants were the rank of Joint Secretaries, Directors, Majors General, and Brigadiers, engaged in collaborative sessions aimed at strengthening national security strategies.
Dilbag Singh, former DGP of Jammu and Kashmir was invited as a Guest Speaker. He delivered an enlightening lecture on the crucial topic of “Civil Military Police Interface in Sensitive Areas”. His experience added invaluable perspectives to the discourse, emphasizing the need for seamless collaboration between civil, military, and police entities to ensure security in areas of heightened sensitivity.
The training programme was aimed at sensitising the participant officers as to how difficult and security sensitive theatres like J&K are to be handled by various stakeholders in real life situations and to understand how to deal with a vast variety of challenges together.
