JAMMU, Feb 6: Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Abdul Majid Bhat today tabled five bills passed by Legislative Assembly for the consideration of the Upper House.
The bills presented and passed LA were “Jammu and Kashmir State Higher Education Council, Bill, 2018 (LA Bill No: 1 of 2018)”, Jammu and Kashmir Ayurvedic and Unani Practitioners (Amendment) Bill, 2018 (LA Bill No: 2 of 2018)”, Jammu and Kashmir Fisheries Bill, 2018 (LA Bill No: 4 of 2018)”, Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue (Amendment) Bill, 2018 (LA Bill No: 8 of 2018)” and ” The Jammu and Kashmir Salaries and Allowances of members of the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature (Amendment) Bill, 2018)” for recommendation of the Legislative Council respectively.
The secretary informed the House that the bills have been passed by the Legislative Assembly in its sitting held on 5th February 2018. The Legislative Council also passed the bills today.
