SRINAGAR, Oct 12: Legislative Council today passed two Bills including the Bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authorities Act, 1997 and the Bill to provide for the Regulation of Private Security Agencies operating in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Bills were moved for consideration by the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Syed Basharat Ahmad Bukhari and the Minister for Horticulture, Hajj and Auqaf Abdul Rehman Veeri on behalf of the Chief Minister.
The House passed these Bills by voice vote.
