JAMMU, Apr 3: Legislative Council today passed three Bill unanimously with voice vote.
The L. A. Bill No. 8 of 2013 to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment Act, 2010 (L. A. Bill No. 8 of 2013) was moved by Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Abdul Rahim Rather on behalf of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
The L. A. Bill No. 5 of 2013 to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Employees Provident Funds (and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1961 (L. A. Bill No. 5 of 2013 was moved by the Minister for Labour and Employment.
The L. A. Bill No. 1 of 2013 to amend the Jammu and Kashmir Transfer of Property Act, Samvat 1977 and the Jammu and Kashmir Alienation of Land Act, Samvat 1995 (L. A. Bill No. 1 of 2013) was moved by Minister of State for Revenue Ajaz Ahmad Khan.
After brief discussion, the Bills were put to vote and were passed unanimously with voice vote.
The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly has already passed these Bills.
Naresh Kumar Gupta, B R Kundal and Sheikh Ghulam Rasool took part in the discussion and supported these Bills.
