JAMMU, Mar 28: The House today passed a Bill to amended the Jammu and Kashmir Prevention and Suppression of Sabotage Act 1965.
The Bill was moved by Naresh Kumar Gupta and the House passed the Bill after a brief discussion. Murtaza Khan and Khalid Najeeb Suhrawardy spoke on the Bill.
The Bill aims to empower the Principal District and Session Judges throughout the State to try cases/offences under the Act in their respective jurisdictions for speedy trial.
