NEW DELHI, May 28: Lead prices eased by 0.61 per cent to Rs 114.85 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced exposures, taking weak cues from the global markets on demand concern.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in May fell by 70 paise, or 0.61 per cent, to Rs 114.85 per kg in business turnover of 990 lots.
The metal for delivery in June also fell by 60 paise, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 115.40 per kg with a business volume of 111 lots.
Marketmen said a weak trend in the entire base metals at the London Metal Exchange on concern slowing growth in China, worlds’ largest consumer of industrial metals, may hurt demand mainly put pressure on lead futures here. (PTI)
