JAMMU, Oct 19: Shiv Sena here today staged a protest demonstration against the leaders of Gupkar alliance for allegedly misleading the people under a conspiracy.
The protest was led by Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni who said the Article 370 and 35-A are things of the past.
He also said that the politics of provoking and misleading the people in the guise of Jammu Vs Kashmir has started to divert attention from the grave issues like restoration of Statehood to J&K, unemployment and development of J&K among other serious issues.
He said that ignorance of provocative statements of Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti regarding 370 and 35-A shows that something is being cooked between BJP and Kashmiri leaders.
The Shiv Sena leader claimed that people of J&K are in favour of employment, development and restoration of Statehood to J&K.
He also said that even after a long wait of 14 months, BJP has proved to be a big failure.
Sahni said, further division of Jammu and Kashmir will not be tolerated at all and the public will not fall prey to the tactics of political leaders.
Shiv Sena Women Wing president, Meenakshi Chibber; General Secretary, Vikas Bakshi; Secretary, Raj Singh; Parveen Gupta, Sanjeev Soodan, Rajesh Handa, Geeta Rani, Jaganath, Roshan Kumar, Surender Kumar, Anil and others were also present in the protest.
