JAMMU, Dec 13: A lecture was organized on ‘Child Sexual Abuse’ to generate awareness amongst the teenage girls and boys at BSF Paloura Camp which was delivered by Dr Taruna Sharma, Chief Medical Officer (OG), BSF. The topic was conceptualized by Sunita Boora, President BWWA, Jammu.
During the lecture, Dr Taruna Sharma gave detailed information on the topic and how to deal with such a situation and precautions to be taken to prevent these incidents. A large of number BSF families residing inside the campus and their wards attended the lecture.
On this occasion, Paramjit Kaur Sandhu, Secretary, BWWA Jammu, said that today children are facing very serious issues, hence it is our responsibility to keep them aware and teach ways to keep themselves safe against such crimes.
