RAMBAN, Nov 8: Gool Police in association with 58 RR of Indian Army organised a lecture on drug abuse at Dak Bungalow Gool, in which large number of PRIs, civil society members and local youth participated.
The lecture was organised on the directions of SSP Ramban Haseeb Ur Rehman.
Speaking on the occasion, SDPO Gool Pardeep Kumar made participants aware of the risks of drug abuse and its repercussions on the society and national security.
Participants particularly youth were made aware that they are the future of the nation and were exhorted to stay away from the drug abuse and direct their energies towards constructive activities and character building.
They were also made aware of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic and mitigation measures required to overcome it.
General public has demanded that such initiatives should be continued in the future too.
