JAMMU, Nov 4: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Bishnah in collaboration with the Vigilance Officer and APIO GDC Bishnah organized an awareness lecture on the theme “Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation”.
The resource person for the occasion was Kamal Sangra, Senior Inspector and Investigative Officer Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), who focused on the provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act, formation of Central Vigilance Commision, Anti Corruption Bureau and their role in keeping the check on corruption in the public offices.
He elaborated on the role of Satyaendra Dubey to highlight the commitment of the public servant in fight against corruption. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Manohar Lal, Principal of the college exhorted the students to adopt probity in their lifestyle and secure the future of the country by creating corruption free atmosphere.
The programme was compared by Prof Amit Kumar Sharma, NSS Programme Officer. The formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr Sunil Saladia, APIO GDC Bishnah.
