Lecture on ‘Symmetry in Chemistry’ held

BHADERWAH, June 28: Post Graduate (PG) Department of Chemistry of Government Degree College, organised a lecture on the topic “Symmetry in Chemistry”, in which students and faculty participated.
On the occasion, Dr David Harkins, chemist and an administrator of USA, was the resource person. Dr Harkins delivered the lecture using power point presentation and frame work molecular models.
Prof Bashart Hussain, Incharge principal of the college, stressed the need on organizing such lecture in future also.
Earlier, Dr Ashiq Hussain, presented the welcome address and elaborated the concept of symmetry in day today life.
At the end, Prof Nissar Ahmed Bullah, Head, PG Department of Chemistry, presented vote of thanks.
