JAMMU, May 19: Plus 2 DPC Lecturers Forum and JK Govt Teacher’s Forum claimed to have taken up issue of providing adequate teaching staff with Principal Secretary School Education Department Bishwajit Kumar Singh, DSE Jammu and CEOs.
According to a handout, the Forum had a telephonic conversation today with Principal Secretary School Education Department regarding the deficiency of Lecturers, Headmasters and Masters. Demands of students of HSS Malhar and Basantgarh were taken up again.
The Forum claimed that it was assured by the Principal Secretary that needful is being done within couple of days.
The Forum requested students of Malhar and Basantgarh as well as their parents to suspend their strike and co- operate with the department in maintaining school discipline.
“Political leaders should not interfere in smooth functioning of school and avoid provoking innocent students for strike for political benefits which is unfortunate and encouragement to students to create law and order situation. Plus 2 Lectures Forum would ensure posting of lecturers in winter zone schools with the cooperation of Principal Secretary SED,” reads the handout, issued by Amar Nath Thakur.
