JAMMU, Sept 21: A delegation of All JK +2 Lecturers ‘ Forum led by President, Pardeep Singh Rakwal called on Kanta Devi, Special Secretary, School Education Department in her office Chamber here today.
During the discussion, many issues including the regularisation of all incharge lecturers, modifications in transfer orders of deserving and genuine cases of lecturers and immediate release of transfer lists of left out subjects under ATD 2023, were raised by the Forum’s delegation.
The forum expressed gratitude to Special Secretary SED, Kanta Devi for successfully releasing the transfer lists of most of the subjects after going through a hectic and tough exercise under the dynamic leadership of Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary School Education Department.
The delegation also raised the issue of vacancy of Principal posts in many higher Secondary schools of the UT, and requested the Special Secretary to fill up these posts by fresh promotions in the larger interests of the students.
Reacting to the demands raised by the delegation, Kanta Devi assured the delegation that all issues would be resolved at an earliest in the interest of students and the department was aware of the issues.
Among others who were part of the delegation include Ghar Singh, General Secretary, Gh Nabi Malik, Legal Advisor and Kamal Lal.
