UDHAMPUR, June 17: The district unit of All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum today demanded that the meritorious Class 12 students of the district, their teachers and principals be rewarded by issuing them commendation certificates to boost their morale.
The issue came up for discussion in the meeting of the Forum held here today under its district president, Ashok Sharma.
The speakers said that like Balwan Chand, a student of Government High Secondary School Kud, who secured first position in SSE Examination, Annual Regular 2014 (Winter Zone), many others students from the district reading in private and Government institutions got merit positions in HSP-2 and SSE examinations and thus proved Udhampur district as a hub of education.
Maintaining that rewarding such students and their teachers would boost their morale and serve as an inspiration for others, they demanded that they be rewarded by issuing them commendation certificates.
