JAMMU, July 16: A delegation of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers’ Forum under the leadership of R.S. Slathia (general secretary) and Pardeep Singh (Convenor & District President Jammu) today met the Director School Education Jammu Dr. Ravi. S. Sharma.
The delegation apprised the Director about the long pending demands of +2 fraternity. The main demands includes ACP/Time Bound promotion be granted to +2 cadre, adjustment of newly promoted Lecturers in variosus disciplines whose adjustment is pending since 2019, regularisation of all I/c incumbents, vigilance clearance of the promoted Principals and Lecturers to be done in portal and under one order, sanction of charge allowance in favour of newly promoted Lecturers, repatriation of officers adjusted in hard zone, Non- vocational benefits in favour of all the Principals and Lecturers who are officially engaged even during vacations, Induction into KAS after completing 14 years of service as Lecturers, and opening of sub- office of JK BOSE in remote areas etc.
The memorandum was also handed over to the Director school Education Jammu.The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation.He assured that all their genuine demands will be considered as early as possible.
The Chief Education Officer Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore was also present during the meeting, who also supported the demands of the deiegation.Other prominent members of the delegation include; Jyoti Prakash (Principal), Anil Sharma (Principal and ex- District President Ramban),Ghar singh (Tehsil head Bishnah) and Dr Ashok Sharma, Treasurer etc.
