Legal awareness camp held

DODA, July 21: A legal awareness camp-cum-literacy programme to carry forward the national plan of action for the year-2012 was organized at Sungli village  in tehsil Bhaderwah.
The workshop was organised to create awareness among the students about the rights of children, women and disabled persons.
On the occasion, Pr District & Sessions Judge Bhaderwah, B M Gupta, who is also  Chairman District Legal Services Authority Bhaderwah, highlighted the rights  of children, women and disabled and also made the gathering aware about different beneficial laws vis-à-vis legal services available under the Legal Services Authority Act.
Sub Judge, Kamlesh Pandita, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Authority Bhaderwah also spoke on the occasion and also made aware the gathering regarding the beneficial schemes and laws for the protection of children, women and disabled persions.
Among others Munsiff Bhaderwah, Meyank Gupta, President Bar Association Bhaderwah, Senior Advocate and other lawyers attended the camp.
