SAMBA, Sept 21: A legal awareness camp for laws and schemes on children welfare and for girl students in colleges and schools on protection of women and girl children from sexual harassment and on the technique of self defense was organized in Government Girls Higher Secondary School Rajpura Tehsil and district Samba today.
The camp was held under the chairmanship of M L Manhas, Chairman District Legal Services Authority and Principal District Session Judge Samba in collaboration with Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee (Sub Judge/CJM) Samba Ritesh Kumar Dubey.
He apprised the students about laws and schemes relating to children welfare and for girl students in colleges and schools for their protection from sexual harassment and on the techniques of self defense.
Satish Dutta and Mrs Nisha Rani lawyers spoke on the subject of the legal awareness camp. Ashok Khajuria Principal of the School read the welcome address.
