LEH, Feb 4: To give uniform and effective resource management in all the Government schools of Leh district, the members of Hill Council Leh unanimously decided to go for rationalization of teachers in upcoming transfer of teachers.
Decision in this regard was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Leh, Gyal P Wangyal, here today.
Earlier, the Transfer Committee of Education Department, Leh and Executive Councilor for Education Konchok Stanzin proposed the rationalization policy before the Council members. However, the meeting decided to keep Council Model Schools away from the rationalization policy and will take separate decision on Council Model Schools later.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman Tsering Sandup, Executive Councillor for Agriculture Phunchok Stanzin, Executive Councillor for Minority Mumtaz Hussain, Councillors and officers of Education Department Leh.
