KATHUA, Jan 2: Dead body of leopard was found with iron rod around neck in a nallah in forest area near Challan area in Ramkot here, a police official said.
A team of Wildlife Protection Department took the body into custody.
It is assumed that some hunters have laid the death trap for the wild animals, the official said, adding that investigation has been initiated into the death of wild animal.
