SRINAGAR, Feb 24: A leopard was killed today by locals in Pathan village of Pulwama after it attacked and injured a couple of villagers in the area.
Officials said a leopard appeared in Pathan village of Pulwama today and attacked villagers in which two of them were injured.

“Later people assembled and attacked the leopard leading to his death,” officials said.
Forest officials also said that the animal was killed by a mob after it injured several villagers. “A case will be registered in this regard and also a post-mortem of the animal would also be carried out,” the officials said.
