Leopard kills 10 animals in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Mar 6: Panic gripped Sunta Village, some 5 kilometres from Udhampur City, after a leopard killed ten domestic animals and injured 20 sheep.
A villager, Ashok Kumar, was also attacked by the wild animal in Kirmoo Village of Ramnagar Tehsil, leaving people of the area terrified.
A Sunta resident, Shafi Gujjar, confirmed that the leopard has killed 10 animals and mauled 20 sheep in an animal shed in his village.
The Sunta and Kirmoo residents have appealed the Wildlife Department to capture the animal.
