UDHAMPUR, May 21: Panic gripped Ramnagar Tehsil after a leopard mauled several domestic animals to death in Kulwanta, last night.
Reports said that leopard sneaked into animal sheds of Des Raj and Ami Chand of Kulbanta and killed 9 sheep besides injuring several others.
The incident has triggered a panic wave in the area and people were worried about their cattle as well as their own lives. They have appealed the Wildlife Conservation Department officials and district administration to capture the leopard and or take some appropriate action to evict it to forest area.
