UDHAMPUR, June 25: Panic gripped Pancheri tehsil after a leopard attacked several domestic animals in the area, here last night.
According to the villagers, one bull and five sheep were found killed by the leopard in the animal shed of one Parbat Singh, son of Mulkhraj of Mir Gullaban.
The incident has triggered panic among people of the area, who have brought the matter into the notice of Wildlife Conservation Department officials and District Administration seeking action to capture the beast.
