DODA, Apr 22: A leopard attacked and killed a 14-year-old girl in Bhagwah area of the district.
As per the reports a girl namely Babli Devi daughter of Jameet Ram, a resident of Bhagwah was attacked by a leopard last night when she opened the door of one of the rooms of her home to enter into another room, whose entry was from outside.
As soon as the girl opened the door of the room, a leopard attacked the girl and dragged her about 100-meter away from her residence. Hearing the cries of the girl, the family members raised an alarm following which the villagers along with jawans of police and nearby camp of 10 RR rushed to the help of the girl and rescued the girl from the clutches of the leopard, but it was too late as she had succumbed till then.
