POONCH, Feb 19: A leopard killed five goats and caused serious injuries to the two others at Balnoi village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Mankote area of Poonch district last night.
Official sources said that during last mid-night, a leopard entred the cattle-shed of one Mohd Rafi, son of Din Mohammed, at Balnoi village last night. The wild beast killed his five goats and caused injuries to the two other cattle. The family came to know about the matter in the morning. They lodged report with the concerned police post at Mankote in the morning.
