JAMMU, Apr 9: Police today arrested a militant of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit with a grenade from near his house at village Kathawa in Thathri tehsil of Doda district.
He has been identified as Sabder Ali son of Dawood Batt of Kathawa.
SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed said the arrested militant is brother of Mohammad Amin Bhat, who had crossed over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) in 1999 and is operating from there.
One hand grenade was recovered from the possession of militant at the time of his arrest.
A case against the arrested militant has been registered at Thathri Police Station under Section 7/25 Arms Act.
