JAMMU, Apr 12: State President of Hindustan Shiv Sena, Vikrant Kapoor has flayed Government’s decision to impose Property Tax in J&K.
He also said that Hindustan Shiv Sena will strongly oppose privatization of electricity.
Expressing deep concern over the rising prices of petrol, diesel and LPG he said that there is no provision of Toll Plazas in J&K but the Government has established many Toll Plazas in Jammu and has burdened the people under heavy taxes.
Addressing a press conference here today Kapoor said that the employment and business of the people of J&K has been badly affected and long-term shutdown and restrictions imposed by the Government after August 5, 2019 and the lockdown during the Corona pandemic have also severely affected business in J&K.
“In such a situation, imposing taxes after taxes on the people cannot be justified in any way,” he maintained.
Senior leaders of Hindustan Shiv Sena Bhawa Ram Kaith, Vikram Jeet, Sunil Dabagotra, Abhishek, Himanshu, Amit, Sapna Kohli, Neelam Raina and others were also present during the press conference.
